I’m not sure it counts, but eating anything late at night after the kids are finally in bed is a true guilty pleasure that I am sincerely trying to curb. Aside from that (and Rice Krispie treats that I already acknowledged on the Our Story page of the site), I’d have to say nachos, nachos, and nachos. I don’t even need fancy nachos. All I need are good tortilla chips, black beans, cheddar cheese, and bottled hot sauce.
Limiting this to only one will be a challenge! I suppose my most guilty pleasure would be defined as one that isn’t very eco-friendly or healthy, so that would be one of my favorite guilty pleasure dinners – an old-school dinner of a garlicky caesar salad, a delicious steak, a baked potato with all the toppings, and a bourbon manhattan, followed by a cheese course for dessert. When it comes to culinary pleasures, I like to remember one of my favorite quotes, attributed to Julia Child: “Everything in moderation… including moderation.”
