Find of the week: GINGER COCKTAIL SYRUP
Sugar and spice…and everything nice…that’s what can be made with ginger cocktail syrup!
We discovered this delicious cocktail syrup (Timber City Ginger) at our farmers market and have since found other versions at the grocery store. It’s a fantastic addition to hot holiday beverages like apple cider and a hot toddy. Spicy ginger compliments sweetness (apples, honey, chocolate) and tastes like the holidays. Ginger also aids digestion, a bonus in a season of many treats and large meals. You can find many versions online, but I suggest you check your local markets for a zesty “homemade version.”
Dean and Deluca has some good ideas on how to use the syrup, and Williams Sonoma carries it online and in stores as well.
Stay Spicy!
Anthony’s Ginger Hot Toddy
Yum! I can attest to the yumminess of this on a cold night. Thanks for the recipe.
Thanks Nikki!
