My “lucky charm” in the kitchen is my Le Creuset round “french oven.” I’m a huge fan of one-pot dinners, so this big pot gets used daily for sautéing, braising meats, making beans, simmering soups, stews, and sauces, and anything else I can think to cook in it. The enamel coating cleans up like a charm (ha ha), and its happy yellow color brightens up my kitchen. I’d be lost without it!
I would have to say my cookbooks. I have collected some great ones over the years, and they are always a go-to for me when I need inspiration or information. I love having the internet at my disposal sometimes, but I really rely on those cookbooks. Most of the dishes I use over and over have come from them. We’ve written about our favorite cookbooks before, and the list continues to represent the ones I refer to consistently.
