Ridiculously Easy Grilled Corn
In some ways it can be really difficult to feed your family, three times a day, 365 days a year…we know, that’s why we created Table365. But, sometimes we find tips, tools, and recipes, that are so ridiculously easy, that we need to share it with everyone else…the other reason we created Table365.
So here it is, the ridiculously easy way to make delicious corn on the cob on the grill. We’ve researched many different methods for preparing corn on the cob (boiling, roasting, grilling) and it can be done in a multi-course process (soaking, shucking, etc.) but it can also just be “thrown” on the grill and roasted. It’s so fast and easy, I may never heat up my kitchen with a huge pot of boiling water in the summer again.
Cheers!
Grilled Corn on the Cob
- 4 ears of corn
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
Heat grill (gas or charcoal) to medium heat, hot enough to cook the corn but not to burn the husks. Lay the corn on the grill and cover. Cook for 5 minutes and turn the corn every 5 minutes until husks are dark and dry, 15-20 minutes. Pull the husks off the corn and discard. Liberally season the corn with butter, salt, and pepper and enjoy!
